Indian beat Pakistan at the 20 – 20 worldcup …. what a red letter day in Indian sports history … An amazing match .. I though enjoyed the match in office .. amongst all my hooting colleages and samosas and beer … But today was even more eventful … Team India arrived in the city .. and in true Mumbai city fashion .. its people were out there to welcome them with arms wide open . The sites from the auto rickshaw were amazing .. people standing in the rain for hours , holding out Indian flags chanting out ” Chak de India ” , althought I didn’t manage to get a good view of the team .as I was stuck between a bus and a huge truck … My office staff happen to get amazing shorts of the entire entourage of the players . From Sahar all the way to Worli it was like a live coverage of the entire event … here’s some amazing videos and photographs taken by outstanding budding photographers from my office .
Well we’ve just shifted to our new office .. with its wet white walls and yet to be polished floor .. its a quaint lil place we call our work place …… high tables … and high stools give a feel of everyday after hour soiree nights… beer mug clashing ideas and … peanut bumping brains ….. the leader of the pack is my boss .. who with his antics .. is always driving everyone up the wall …. here’s a lil peep into our crazy work world
I am a dreamer … and my dreams are sometimes as big as the ocean .. tall as the Himalayas and sometimes a simple as apple pie . And some of my simple dreams are to someday work for design studios .. that produce simple but beautiful works. And Oh Joy is one such place … as a kid i always seem to have keen fascination for floral prints and everything girly .. although I to the contrary am a tom boy in the making … Oh Joy seems to sum up my fascination for classy .. victorian and floral designs …
