Ideafixa is an international digital online magazine for photography , illustration and visual arts. It choses contemporary artistic works that are cosmopolitan;and works that are present of the world.
Saatchi & Saatchi LA took a print ad shoot for the Toyota Tacoma and turned it into much more – it also served as a street level stunt and a viral effort.
As part of the long-standing “unbreakable” campaign for the Toyota Tacoma, they partnered with Dave Kinsey, a well known street, graffiti and fine artist, to create two live mural installations.
One mural is of prehistoric creatures wreaking havoc on a contemporary urban setting. The live Tacoma parked in front of it remains unscathed. The other mural depicts an alien invasion in which our truck deflects one of the death rays from the UFO.
The murals were painted in highly visible locations in Los Angeles and Torrance, CA. Passers-by on the street stopped to inquire about the murals in progress, asking what they were for. Each one took two weeks to paint.
In a day .. I go about … surfing through millions of sites of various artist , illustrators and .. basically anything to do with creativity and ideas… Thats my way of living up the JWT philosophy of ” growing young”… well after recovering from a terrible head ache over the weekend I had to get back against my boss… in our OH so over the top fite of blog wars … and here’s one for you boss .. Emil Kozak studio .. a nice lil design studio runned my emil Kozak ….I like the stuff he creates .. its yound youthful … and very ME!
Emil Kozak is from a small town in Denmark, and was inspired to take on graphic design as a result of his life long passion for skateboarding.As a result his work has been exhibited widely in Europe and US, appeared in numerous magazines and featured on websites. The 17th of april 2007 Mags.dk awarded some of the best magasines in Denmark. I made the prices. All of the prices have a connection to medium of the award. E.g. on the award for “art-director of the year” there is alot of markers, pantone guides
etc.
Cave men decorated their dwellings with drawings depicting the events of their lives. Mayans hacked their stories into the stone walls of their enormous structures, and the pharaohs’ talented artists decorated pyramid walls with art celebrating the magnificence of the pharaoh. Michelangelo painted biblical scenes on the walls and ceilings of the chapels of his day. You get the gist – for thousands of years, humans have not been able to leave the surface of the walls around them untouched.
Well i love these interesting wall art .. they give a whole new meaning to blank walls …. We admire the work of artists and designers who are not afraid to move beyond the limits of canvas and create visions that should forever alter the meaning of “staring at the walls” and “watching paint dry.”
I like creating doodles on paper all the time .. sometimes I can sit doodling at my work desk. its my lil world where client servicing have a demonic face and a cute lil pony at the rear end. The “It girl” of the office has a huge fat arse to accompany her red dress and my boss has a yard long moustache that compliments his buck toothed smile . I call these lil creatures Go-Go Bees..
