A little late but none the less a round of applause to all involved in the new Sony Bravia ad ie. Fallon and Passion Pictures. The 3rd in the Sony Bravia series is apparently the most ambitious piece of stop-motion animation every undertaken! Filmed over 3 weeks in New York, using 40 animators and 2.5 tonnes of plasticine with a killer Stones soundtrack, it is one of my favourite so far. Watch the ad and some behind the scenes business here.

Amazing interactive music video for The Arcade Fire.

Purpose a design house based in the uk have a very interesting site .. its absolutely fresh .

To celebrate Christmas this year, Gavin Martin Associates decided to hold
a Curryoke party – an evening of curry and karaoke – and asked Purpose to
design the invitation.

Purpose subverted popular Karaoke songs and the iconic Indian
take away container to create a memorable invite.

The invitations where delivered in a brown paper bag containing a
number of curry containers, each with a different song message scrawled
on the top. Songs include: ‘Murder on Dhansk floor’, ‘Love me tandoor’,
‘Rice rice baby’ and ‘Naaneater’, amongst many others.

Hidden away on the flipside of the lid are the event details
foil blocked onto mirror board.

Flat Color, a Seattle-based art products site, has just opened their internet “doors” for business. They’ve got a pretty good starting point, too, since they’ve teamed up with Seattle artist Parskid for their first product release. They’re offering the traditional Giclée prints (can’t go wrong there) as well as a drinking glass and a pocket mirror (these are gaining popularity lately), all featuring some nice work from Parskid. Of course, all these items are a limited edition (everything is these days) and will soon be replaced with goods from another artist. If you’re into Parskid’s stuff like we are (it’s a pretty serious crush), then you know what to do and when to do it. Keep an eye on Flat Color to see what else they’ve got up their sleeves. www.flatcolor.com and www.parskid.com
