Your design can only be as good as the brief you worked from. The best projects are borne from briefs that are open enough to inspire ideas, while being specific enough to feel workable. Shaun Crowley shows how you can elicit these kinds of briefs by providing clients with briefing templates.

Today I was off work .. had a terrible head ache … and whilst my trembling headache .. I came across Spencer Tunicks new project … Its photo shoot done in order to raise awareness for global warming , Greenpeace and the photographer Spencer Tunick got hundreds of naked people to pose for photos on a melting glacier.

600 hundred people across Europe who were concerned regarding the environment particpated in this mamoth of a project.

Personally I just think that Global warming has become a rather commercial topic .. everyone wants to do their on bit .. which in one way is a good thing .. but aren’t we going a bit too far … will a project involving 600 naked people and a glacier really raise a brow towards the more alarming issues about global warming …

I came across these tiny notes from dsix design and love the simple and sweet messages they send. Notes are grouped into collections like “i will” which lists good deeds or tasks to accomplish and “i.o.u” which gives a lucky recipient some well-deserved time. They also come with the tiniest envelopes…

I generally like design that talks to me .. even when I go shopping somehow the the things in the store should talk to me … lure me to pick them off the rack … if that doesn’t seem to happen … then sorry i ain’t buying you ……
these lil notes do just that …. and I like them very much …..
I am a dreamer … and my dreams are sometimes as big as the ocean .. tall as the Himalayas and sometimes a simple as apple pie . And some of my simple dreams are to someday work for design studios .. that produce simple but beautiful works. And Oh Joy is one such place … as a kid i always seem to have keen fascination for floral prints and everything girly .. although I to the contrary am a tom boy in the making … Oh Joy seems to sum up my fascination for classy .. victorian and floral designs …
